HD launches a new business line, adding two new partners: an accounting and tax compliance group.

In an effort to expand its service offerings, HD Group has recently introduced a new business line, HD Tax. This new venture will focus on all aspects related to ensuring compliance with Chilean accounting, tax, and fiscal regulations.

Sebastián Delpiano, the managing partner of HD Group, emphasized, “HD Tax complements our existing services, alongside HD Legal, HD Compliance, and HD Systems, broadening the spectrum of services we provide to our clients.” He went on to explain, “Our goal is to offer our clients comprehensive services, covering various areas where they need our support. This approach eliminates the necessity for multiple advisors and results in both time and cost savings.”

HD Tax will specialize in Accounting & Payroll, Tax Compliance, and Tax & Accounting Advisory services. This new venture will be led by partners Andrés Aracena, a certified auditor with a Master’s in Taxation from the University of Chile, and Juan Andrés Larrondo, a lawyer with a Master of Laws in Taxation from Georgetown University. They are joined by an experienced  team of accountants.

The Transformation

The year 2023 was a year of significant changes for the Group, where they not only decided to invest in strengthening the work teams in each of their practice areas, leading to the relocation of their offices to Av. Vitacura. They also chose to depart from the traditional world of law firms named after their founders, giving way to HD Group, with the aim of consolidating the various service companies they use to advise their clients.
